Crafting an experience where users access talent data
insights is as simple as asking a question.
Addressing Recruitment Obstacles
Our users for this project were recruiters and sources tasked with submitting suitable talent to their hiring managers within specified timelines. However, they faced challenges in this process. Reviewing profiles to ensure alignment with job descriptions, including experience, business area, diversity, and required/nice-to-have skills, proved time-consuming.
AI Streamlining Talent Review
To streamline this process, we leveraged AI to enhance efficiency and productivity. Our solution simplified the talent review process by enabling users to ask questions directly. Regardless of the depth or length of data on a profile, users could easily access talent data insights they needed and identify qualified candidates by asking questions such as:
“Hey Findem, what stands out about this person for this role?”
“Can you summarize this for a hiring manager who values team players?”
My Role
Throughout the project, I worked closely with product managers and engineering teams. I focused on crafting an intuitive user experience where users could seamlessly ask questions and validate candidates according to Findem's AI design principles.
This was launched on July 19, 2023

Post-Launch Updates
After the launch, we've been dedicated to enhancing and expanding the user experience.
Here are two updates we've implemented post-launch
Enhancement 1Quick Definition Lookup
We've implemented a quick way to look up word definitions within profiles. Now, users can easily clarify unfamiliar terms or keywords by dragging a word or phrase and clicking 'Ask AI.' The AI assistant promptly displays its definition directly within the chat section, allowing for uninterrupted profile review.
Enhancement 2Customizable Quick Prompts
To help users navigate the wide range of talent data insights available, we've introduced three prompts or suggestions to guide them on how to begin. Users can start a chat using one of these prompts or type in their query.
Additionally, users can personalize these prompts to reflect their company's branding and tone. This feature enables users to efficiently use AI-generated responses, ensuring that their communication aligns with their company's voice when sharing profiles with hiring managers or reaching out to potential candidates.
